Youth Dance Ensemble 2020

LJ Projects Youth Ensemble has emerged out the desire to nurture and enhance young dancers current training.

From the beginning of 2020 we will select and welcome a group of young dancers age 14-20 to the LJ Projects family for a year.

During their year with us they will be offered a range of exciting opportunities, these include.

- A Youth Ensemble Production created with the director. Set to tour around Australia to youth festivals and other events.

- Participate in company classes during rehearsal periods.

- Involvement in a choreographic platform, allowing young artists to create their own work.

- Featured in the annual Youth Dance Project on the Sunshine Coast.

Members are given a whole year of creative nurturing whilst simultaneously gaining invaluable real-life experience in the day-to-day runnings of a dance theatre company. The initiative provides a perfect balance of benefits to the ensemble members, the company and its patrons.
